Keepin It Country's Artist to keep your Eye's on for 2020

Named Nashville Universe's “Rising Star 2018" and “Best Country Artist" by the Hollywood Music And Media Awards, along with multiple regional awards, singer songwriter Tiffany Ashton is also a member of The Recording Academy and a Grammy voter. With award wins spanning coast to coast and a new EP releasing in 2019, Tiffany Ashton is "one to watch".

Georgia born and Carolina raised, Tiffany Ashton started singing at age three and by the time she was six, was performing to large audiences at area churches and events . A move with her family to North Carolina to obtain therapies for her brother with autism and epilepsy exposed the young Tiffany to many genres. From traditional country music, modern country music, the folksy songwriter vibe of Appalachia, pop, and even a bit of classical and Broadway, each influenced her developing, unique style. An avid writer, it was receiving her first guitar at age twelve that opened the door for Tiffany to begin creating her own songs and it was then that putting her own writing to melodies became her passion. With hundreds of songs and performances and radio interviews throughout the US, including the legendary WSM Nashville, she has shared the stage with many artists including Brothers Osborne, Luke Combs, The Oak Ridge Boys, Corey Smith, Shenandoah, Bucky Covington, Cimorelli, Natalie Stovall, Adam Sanders and Mac Powell of Third Day.

Bailey Callahan is a gal who lights up a room; her aura illuminates before she even enters. A singer/songwriter and recording artist who reigns from sunny Florida, Bailey is a vibrant young woman who lives in the moment but most definitely has a plan for the future. She’s overcome lifetime challenges and racked up some grand career accomplishments. In less than a 10-month period, at just 17, Bailey endured a complicated back surgery to correct childhood scoliosis (two rods were inserted into her spine), she graduated from high school, made the move from the Sunshine State to Music City, was invited to participate in, and attend, the annual ASCAP Expo in Hollywood and chosen to become the host of the SCENES Media podcast. Bailey Callahan thrives in a whirlwind! While Bailey is most certainly characterized by her fun-loving, carefree personality, what lies beneath her effervescence is a tenacity and determination that makes her a force to be reckoned with. The now eighteen-year old navigates her business within the

music industry with moxie and grace. Bailey books her own shows and has played more than 300 dates over the course of two short years sharing stages with some of country music’s hottest names including Luke Combs, Hunter Hayes, LOCASH, Scotty McCreery, Jesse James Decker and a multitude more. Her self-titled EP, which charted at No. 43 on iTunes (2017), flawlessly ties together the origin of the “Bailey Callahan Diary” past and present, and with a hopeful future. She expertly balances young-hearted romanticism with maturity to offer an irrevocably relatable quality that “CallaFans,” and country music fans alike, can latch onto. Outtakes such as “Another Ex” (a tune Kelsea Ballerini considered cutting) offers listeners an intensely personal look into unrequited love while “Wildcard” reveals the uncharted territory that comes with new-found romance. Bailey’s bubbly outlook and vivacious spirit should not be mistaken for unsophistication. Bailey Callahan is a savvy, no-nonsense, get down to brass tacks kind of gal. At the end of the day, it’s her proven sensibility combined with her undeniable talents that put Callahan on the path to grandeur.

Payton Taylor, born January 29, 1997, grew up in South Jersey and developed an “old soul” through listening to her grandfather’s favorite records as a child. In 2013, Payton convinced her family to make the move to Music City, where she’s continued to develop her soulful sound as a country music singer-songwriter. Earlier this year, Payton was featured as an artist on American Idol after appearing only to accompany her younger sister on acoustic guitar. After hearing Payton’s rendition of “Angel From Montgomery,” the judges’ suspicions were confirmed and both sisters were offered their own golden ticket. Her performance was featured by Good Morning America, Billboard, Hollywood Reporter, Taste of Country, and Sounds Like Nashville. Payton has spent the past five years learning from some of the best songwriters and producers in the industry, including Wade Kirby (George Strait’s No. 1 “I Saw God Today,” Blake Shelton’s No. 1 “Doin’ What She Likes”) and Phil O’Donnell (George Strait’s No. 1 “Give It All We Got Tonight,” Clay Walker’s “She Won’t Be Lonely Long”). She has also opened for Charlie Daniels and was invited to the Grand Ole Opry stage by William Michael Morgan. Payton released her newest single “Whiskey On My Wings” October 1st.

They began performing as a duo in the Pittsburgh area, as well as in Winston Salem, NC, where they graduated from Wake Forest University. Hannah and Lauren have always had a love for harmony, which they frequently incorporate into their music. Whether adding it into cover songs or writing it into their original music, harmony has become the signature sound for the Hobbs Sisters.

Individual artists in their own right, SaraBeth, Glen Mitchell, and Vickie Vaughn have come together to form the harmony powerhouse Royal South. The Sisterhood are an organic blend of the open melodies of classic West Coast folk & and the magnetic swagger of timeless rock n’ roll, powered by Alyssa and Ruby’s soaring richly textured harmonies and effortless chemistry. Both ladies have strong musical DNA. Alyssa is the daughter of Kathie Baillie & Michael Bonagura (the core of country band Baillie & The Boys) and Ruby’s father is rock icon Rod Stewart.

The pair met through a group of musical friends while both working on their solo careers. Immediately bonding over growing up in the music business and sharing a mutual love and idolization of folk goddess Joni Mitchell, it wasn’t obvious to them that their friendship should turn professional until they were jamming on some Joni songs backstage after seeing a Rod Stewart gig together. He listened to their glistening harmonies of a song or two and told them “You two should start a band.”

After only a year of knowing each other, the duo are capturing attention immediately all over the globe, and recently signed their first record deal with Sony Music Nashville on stage at their 3rd & Lindsley show. They’ve written and recorded their first EP which features the theme song “Tenderize My Heart” for the Stewarts & Hamilton’s show on E!, performed at Fashion Weeks in Milan and Miami, landed a slot on the main stage at CMC music festival in Australia, opened for Gary Clark Jr. & Steven Tyler, made guest appearances at Rod Stewart’s Vegas show at Caesar’s palace and were the opening act on Sir Rod’s summer and winter stadium tour, while headlining their first club tour in the U.K. After making their Grand Ole Opry Debut on the eve of the historic solar eclipse, the girls are currently recording and producing their debut album in Nashville, TN.

Their meeting was happenstance, but the music they create together can only mean that nothing is ever truly coincidence. Voices of sirens, lyrics of poets; these two musical heirs are soul sisters are messengers of the music in their hearts. Two very different worlds colliding with one common thread makes the music they create one of a kind. Fresh sounds, haunting melodies, and signature voices and harmonies are what set The Sisterhood apart from any other female group in today’s popular music
